Our region is steeped in military and mining history with many grand buildings giving insight into the past wealth of the area.

Covering over 68,000 square kilometres, our region includes the city of Charters Towers and the small outlying townships of Greenvale, Hervey Range, Homestead, Mingela, Pentland and Ravenswood, along with the areas of Bluewater Springs, Belyando Crossing and Hidden Valley.
