Hidden Valley
Hidden Valley, with a population of approximately 80 people, is the most northerly township under the jurisdiction of Charters Towers Regional Council. It is located 20 kilometres west of the Paluma township and serves as a modest community centre to station owners living along the Seaview Range.
Hidden Valley is home to the Hidden Valley Cabins, Australia's first solar powered and carbon-neutral resort. This fabulous eco-friendly resort is ideal for those looking for a secluded, natural setting with all the creature comforts for relaxation or a working group away from the hustle and bustle. Filled with fresh mountain air, crystal clear creeks and breathtaking sunsets where the weather is mild, invariably fine for most of the year due to the higher altitude.
The cabins are close to outstanding natural attractions, including World Heritage Wet Tropics Rainforest, Paluma Rainforest Village, Lake Paluma, Crystal Creek, Birthday Creek Falls, Running River Gorge, Wallaman Falls, Mt Fox Volcanic Crater and Tyto Wetlands. You'll have an unforgettable experience filled with lasting memories at Hidden Valley.
